Valentines Update

Despite being sick this week (again), many things have happened for the business!

Contract is on its way from Viking rep so that we can get signed up.  Samples from Shannon Fabric are on the way (woohoo!)  Gammill will be arriving first of April.  Realtor has more locations to look at.  Pat is helping me get motivated to get the business plan done.....yuck.
Next week we will open the bank account and I will be traveling to Castle Rock CO to visit a friend who owns Sew-Ciety and will have the opportunity to ask her many questions.  In addition to picking her brain, I will train her staff on serger use and work one day by their side in the store.  Should be fun!
Worked on a quilt top using fabric foundation and really like it.  I'll put pictures up soon!  I really feel like it is starting to roll quickly!

It's REALLY going to happen!

Yesterday a friend and I attended Betty Cotton theory quilting class and Pam Clarke long arm quilting classes at Rocky Mountain Sewing Expo.  In addition, we spent time looking at the variety of booths and finding out which vendors would be used as vendors for our store.

We will be carrying Dakota Collectible embroidery designs, Pam Clarke long arm supplies and Viking Sewing machines.

The best part today was actually selecting the Gammill long arm and Statler Stitcher that will be delivered here to the house in April and then moved to the store as soon as the store is ready.  I CAN'T WAIT!  We have so much to learn and all are working hard at samples and new techniques.
